Good work
deserves to get done.

I’m Laney.
I help people & teams get unstuck and get work across the finish line.

I’ve spent most of my career in marketing and operations, but the common thread has always been the same.

I step in when things are supposed to be happening… and aren’t.

Sometimes it’s a strategy that never turned into a plan.
Sometimes it’s too many priorities and no clear direction.
Sometimes it’s a team that’s working hard but not moving forward.

I’ve led a strategic marketing agency, built systems to support growing teams, and worked inside organizations where the work is important and the margin for error is small.

I’m best at figuring out what’s in the way, bringing clarity to what matters, and helping teams actually finish the work.

Where I come in:

You’ve got a clear goal,
but no clear path to execution

You have lots of priorities, but nothing getting across the finish line

Your team needs structure, but can’t afford to slow down

You’re too close to the work to see what’s missing

You just need help getting good work across the finish line

Because good intentions aren’t the problem. Follow-through is.

My Experience

  • 15+ years leading operations, strategy, and execution across agency, media, and nonprofit environments

  • Proven ability to align competing priorities across sales, creative, technical, and client-facing teams — turning complexity into momentum

  • Built and mentored teams at every level — from interns to senior account managers — across multiple organizations

  • Designed operational systems that streamlined fulfillment and created the infrastructure for operational excellence and sustainable revenue growth

  • Comfortable in the room with executives, donors, community partners, and frontline teams — and skilled at translating between all of them

  • Co-founded Mountain Strong, a non-profit focused on long-term recovery in Western North Carolina after Helene; raised over $750K (and counting!) to support Yancey and Mitchell County.

I’m especially drawn to working with small and mid-sized teams, particularly nonprofits, where the work matters and getting it right matters even more. If this resonates, find me on LinkedIn.
